Smart Exterior Care started with a ladder, a pressure washer and a lot of hustle. Two years and 80+ homes later, it's a company with a bigger goal: moving people toward their dreams, starting with the guy who runs it.

I started this business at 17 because I'd rather build something than wait for permission. I've stacked up more work experience than most people my age, including a year as a mechanic, and every job taught me the same lesson: show up, do it right, and leave it better than you found it.
I love running a company. The quoting, the scheduling, the problem-solving, and yeah, the 8am roof climbs. On bigger jobs I bring help, and that means real work and real experience for them too.

On the ice
When I'm not on a roof, I'm playing hockey. I'm not winning any scoring titles, but I keep showing up to 5:30am practices before class anyway. Same deal as the roof work: early mornings, no shortcuts.
How I run every job
- Show up when I said I would
- Protect plants, siding and anything delicate
- Flush downspouts on every roof and gutter job
- Sweep and clean up so the property looks better than when I arrived
- Come back and touch up anything I missed
